ONE WAY OUT, LORD

A DOCUMENTARY PHOTOGRAPHY SERIES

These rolling hills are my original stompin’ grounds. The rural landscapes, sleepy sidewalks, and quiet corners of Southern Ohio where I grew up provide the backdrop for this series—a personal reflection on my past from a new perspective gained from where I live now in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Though separated by years and miles, the deep-seated feeling, the quiet edges of faith, and the unvarnished characters of these Ohio hills echo my current Appalachian home in a deeply personal and meaningful way. This collection is a firsthand look back at the roots that shaped my eye, creating the raw presence of the place I first called home.
